Meredith Hooper

    

Meredith Hooper grew up in Australia. She left there for Oxford, to do post graduate work in History. She is the author of many remarkable books for children, including Who Built the Pyramids? and Endurance: Shackleton’s Perilous Expedition in Antarctica. Her books have been acclaimed for the way in which they distill a wealth of research into writing that is both simple and powerful. She lives in London with her family.
