Schools and Libraries

On opening the Birmingham Free Library in the late 1800s, Mr. George Dawson described libraries as the diary of the human race, and went on to make the point that a library where one is free to read widely, seek and learn is therefore not a luxury, but one of life's true necessities.

As we all know, well-supported public schools and libraries are the foundation of a functioning and thriving democracy. We greatly value our partnerships with all kinds of schools and libraries and are keen on developing an ongoing conversation with as many of you as possible.
