Submission Guidelines

If you would like to submit a book proposal to Enchanted Lion Books, please write to us at 20 Jay Street, Studio M-18, Brooklyn, NY 11201. Please keep in mind that we publish books for children and young adults that aim to be fun, engaging and inspiring, while never losing sight of the fact that children are endowed with vast resources of intuitive awareness that make them highly sensitive detectors of emotional honesty, as well as very open to the enchantments of animals of all kinds.

We are happy to explore your work. We are interested in hearing what you are up to whether that is in Brooklyn or Iowa, Tbilisi, Ireland or Detroit.

Please submit your proposal by mail, along with a cover letter describing your book and something of your background. Please feel free to submit your manuscript, but make certain that your name, address, and phone number appear on the first page.

If you would like us to reply, please provide us with a self-addressed, stamped envelope. It is unlikely that we will remember to reply by email. Since we receive more queries and manuscripts than we can process promptly, please allow six months or more for our reply.
